The Natural Law Party will provide immediate full employment by engaging the unemployed in the reconstruction of Britain, rebuilding our cities and national infrastructure in accord with Natural Law based principles to promote health and vitality. They will build new gardens, parks, fountains, and lakes to beautify the country. See section on Housing and National Planning.They will also be engaged in construction of new roads, reforestation, other public works, and social services such as assistance in hospitals and schools.

Their work will create a beautiful, healthy nation whose citizens feel that they are living in Heaven on Earth, while simultaneously eliminating the social distress caused by acute unemployment.

The Natural Law Party will create an economic climate where it is unnecessary for mothers to work outside the home. We believe that future generations will suffer if children are raised by child-minders and day-care centres rather than by their mothers. Our policy will ensure the strength of the coming generation and the future success of the nation.

Given the number of mothers with pre-school children who are working outside their home, this one step alone would go a long way towards eliminating unemployment.

Solving youth unemployment

Unemployment is particularly high among young people who have not completed their education. They feel frustration in their lives, and cannot find serenity, stability and dignity. The high number of early leavers and students who dislike school indicates that the current education system is inadequate - incapable of leading students to higher levels of fulfilment and success in their personal and professional lives.

The Natural Law Party government will offer special educational programmes and create special colleges for early leavers to provide enlightenment and perfection in their lives, raising their creativity to the level where they can accomplish anything. These programmes are highly attractive and interesting to young people because they have been shown to unfold the creative genius of every student, develop inner happiness, and provide the professional skills necessary for high levels of achievement. These programmes offer the experience of bliss in the experience of pure consciousness, which will make the learning process very appealing to everyone.

More years in education

The Natural Law Party's policy is to provide the opportunity for all young people to complete higher levels of education. Ideally, every student should complete a PhD. Instead of the youth being unemployed they will become the leaders of Britain's future and lead the nation to function in accord with the principle of least action - maximum accomplishment with minimum effort, on the basis of infinite creativity on the ground of total knowledge.

Shorter working hours

Through our proven programmes, the Natural Law Party government will increase the efficiency of the work force and the productivity of the entire nation. On this basis, we will propose that companies offer shorter working hours so that workers will have less fatigue and more time to enjoy personal, family and social life.

Providing work opportunities abroad

The Natural Law Party government will provide employment opportunities for unemployed British workers abroad. We will train the unemployed as consultants in the reconstruction of developing countries, and will export British equipment and expertise to developing countries to rebuild their towns, homes and infrastructure. Unlike many current development projects which leave developing countries with large debts and take an unfair amount of profit to the richer countries, this project will be designed to assist developing countries in raising their standard of living and self-sufficiency, creating a lasting basis for mutually enriching trade. More than a hundred countries in the world need this support.

The reconstruction of the developing world will be undertaken simultaneously with the reconstruction of Britain. This will rebuild both economies simultaneously. Because Britain has strong connections to all nations, it will be easy to increase our exports of machinery, equipment, and other items to the developing world in order to start a global programme for rural development and urban renewal. This will also be an opportunity for Britain to have a more positive influence in the world, especially when combined with the Natural Law Party's ban on the export of arms. See section on Defence

To help implement this policy, embassies will be revitalised to create better trade relations.

The scope of this programme to glorify the world is so vast, grand, and dignified that it may even go beyond the imagination of many people, but only by planning on such a grand scale can we eliminate huge debts and avert economic recessions in our own country and throughout the world, and ensure that these problems do not happen again. The Natural Law Party has only to gain the support of the people, and all the great economic goals of Britain will be fulfilled through this programme.

By enlivening the infinite creativity of Natural Law in national consciousness through A Group for a Government, bringing support of nature to every individual, and training everyone to function in accord with the principle of least action, the Natural Law Party will ensure that every citizen will be successful in finding a rewarding and lucrative career without great effort, frustration or delay.
