UK manifesto: Education: Courses for teachers

The Natural Law Party will institute special courses for teachers at all levels from nursery to university level. Training in the Transcendental Meditation programme will be made available as a standard part of the teacher-training curriculum and in special courses for already-trained teachers.

These training programmes will develop all the qualities needed for successful teaching: creativity, energy, intelligence, communication skills, alertness and flexibility.

Development of higher consciousness - increased creative intelligence and life according to Natural Law for every student

Teachers will also experience reduced stress and good health. At all levels of education, they will find greater fulfilment and reduced stress in their professions, since the behaviour of students and pupils improves and disciplinary problems decrease as a result of the Transcendental Meditation programme. The teachers will enjoy teaching students who are as keen to learn as the teachers are to teach.
