The Natural Law Party has carried out a thorough scientific investigation of the potential hazards associated with the introduction of genetically modified foods, and has concluded that the short- and long-term risks involved do not justify the commercially-driven haste to introduce these highly unnatural products. The life and health of this generation and all future generations, together with the healthy future of our environment, should not under any circumstances be jeopardised for the sake of short-sighted economic gain posing in the garb of science (see Agriculture - section on Genetically Modified Foods).

The Natural Law Party is already conducting a campaign throughout Europe and worldwide to alert politicians, the food industry, farmers, and consumers to the dangers associated with genetic modification. The Natural Law Party will continue to pursue this campaign, in or out of office.
