The Natural Law Party regards the purpose of art as the expansion of happiness. Art is a celebration of life and great art can give us direct experience of the deepest values of life. This is why there is such a natural attraction to the arts.

The Natural Law Party will introduce new elements from Maharishi's Vedic Science into the study and practice of the arts which will enliven the full potential of creative intelligence in individual awareness. This will promote all creative styles while allowing distinctive cultural perspectives to retain their own individuality and status.

The Natural Law Party will actively promote the best of existing styles of creative expression in all areas of art, design and performance. At the same time, we will promote the great variety of cultural values present in Britain today from all over the world and from various times in the past. In particular, we will support approaches which are fully in accord with Natural Law, such as Maharishi Sthapatya Veda (the ancient Vedic Science of architecture, interior design, construction and environmental design, see section on Housing and National Planning, and Maharishi Gandharva Veda, (the ancient Vedic Science of music which creates balance in Nature, eliminates stress in the atmosphere, and produces a healthy influence for the individual and peace for the world).
