The Natural Law Party believes that the national lottery, which encourages gambling and thereby destabilises the hearts and minds of the people, is not an appropriate means through which the government should raise funds. To provide additional funding to the areas currently supported by the proceeds of the national lottery, we will encourage local and national initiatives to raise sponsorship and donations. Such an approach to the funding of the arts and other areas will involve people more deeply because they will see more directly the benefits of their contributions. This will help to create a more loving and supportive society.
