In addition, the Natural Law Party will promote initiatives that make it easier for people to work closer to home and to gain better access to locally produced goods and services.

Combined with its economic development strategy (see Economy section) the Natural Law Party will provide guidance to planning authorities for the establishment of more locally-based economic and social structures -
integrated development and construction schemes where housing, business activities, leisure, education and health care are located in ways that reduce the need for travel (see section on Housing and National Planning).
