The Natural Law Party of Northern Ireland has today registered 41 candidates for the Peace Forum elections on 30th May. The party has candidates in all 18 constituencies as well as a regional list of 5 candidates.

Tom Mullins, leader of the Natural Law Party of Northern Ireland, confidently predicted that his party will be among the top ten in the election, and thereby qualify for a minimum of two seats in the Forum.

Mr Anderson said that the Natural Law Party candidates come not only from Northern Ireland but also from the Republic of Ireland and mainland Britain. "By working together we want to show how Natural Law simultaneously upholds and harmonises the interests of everyone. This is clearly illustrated in the emblem of our party: the rainbow.

"We are appealing to the people of Northern Ireland to adopt a scientifically proven means to create a stable and lasting peace," Mr Anderson said. "No one has succeeded so far simply because the basic ingredient for peace is lacking: a coherent, harmonious society. Negotiations will never be successful as long as the collective consciousness of the province is stressed and disorderly.

"The first priority must be to use Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying to create an atmosphere of peace," Mr Anderson continued. "This approach has already been scientifically tested in serious conflict situations in the world and the results published in leading academic journals. When stress is resolved and society gains the support of Natural Law, then automatically the leaders of different groups find ways to accommodate the interests of everyone peacefully and constructively."
