Having seen both Labour and Conservative parties failing to keep their promises over a number of years, students are disillusioned with left and right. They are eager for a party that will be able to offer concrete, practical policies backed by scientific research – a party whose policies have been proved to achieve results. It is therefore not surprising that the Natural Law Party is becoming so popular amongst young people. Natural Law Party Societies being established in universities throughout BritainThe Young Natural Law Party of the United Kingdom was inaugurated in 1995 at the Annual Natural Law Party Conference in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. It expects to grow rapidly with its initiative to establish a Natural Law Party Society in every university in the United Kingdom within the next year. Societies are already flourishing at Manchester University, Bristol University and Oxford University. Last month in Oxford, the Leader of the Natural Law Party, Dr Geoffrey Clements, gave an introductory presentation, which was followed by a Yogic Flying demonstration. The talk was attended by over 60 students, as well as local and national press. At present, societies are being set up at Cambridge University and Middlesex University. Members of Natural Law Party Societies are encouraged to stand as candidates in the forthcoming general election if they are over 21. Current activities of the Young Natural Law Party include involvement in the Natural Law Party Campaign to Ban Genetically Engineered Foods. Many scientists consider these foods to pose a serious health risk to the public. Young Natural Law Party – the key to fulfilment in Britain’s futureThe Leader of the Natural Law Party, Dr Geoffrey Clements says: "The programmes of the Young Natural Law Party can bring fulfilment to every young man and woman. Extensive scientific research has shown that our programmes will enable young people to develop their full creative intelligence, perform better in their studies, and develop ideal social behaviour. The Young Natural Law Party will be a major force in solving social problems that affect young people, including drug-abuse, crime, poor standards in education and lack of fulfilment in life. The members of the Young Natural Law Party hold the key to making fulfilment, progress and success a permanent feature of the future of our nation." Young Natural Law Party – enlightened leaders of the worldThe Natural Law Party is now active in over 50 countries around the world. Branches of the Young Natural Law Party have already attracted widespread support in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, Mexico, Denmark, Canada, Finland, Norway, Croatia and USA. At the 3rd International Conference of the Leaders of the Natural Law Party in Brussels in July this year, Dr Reinhard Borowitz, Secretary General of the Maharishi International Council of Natural Law Parties, said: "The members of the Young Natural Law Party will be the politicians and heads of state of tomorrow. Through their own enlightenment they will bring enlightenment to their countries and harmony to the world." |
