INVITATION
LAUNCH OF NATURAL LAW PARTY MANIFESTO
"Forming a proper government to create a happy, prosperous, problem-free
nation"
NEWS CONFERENCE
Friday 11th April 1997, 11 a.m.
at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors,
12 Great George Street,
London SW1 (off Parliament Square)
The Natural Law Party's 120-page manifesto presents a unique approach
to government. It reveals
a full range of practical policies that go right to the heart of the
problems in each area of administration, offering effective solutions.
This contrasts with the lack of substantial ideas which political commentators
have noted in the manifestos of other parties.
Policy areas covered in the manifesto include: education, health, economy,
law and justice, agriculture, energy and environment, transport, defence,
family and social policy, the arts, European and foreign policy, housing
and national planning, the party's policies for Scotland, Wales and
Northern Ireland. Each policy area is supported by scientific studies,
many of which are illustrated with charts.
SPEAKERS:
Dr Geoffrey Clements, Party Leader, will show how the Natural
Law Party fills the current political vacuum by providing new knowledge
for successful government - knowledge that will bring an end to the
stalemate between Left and Right.
Peter Warburton, Deputy Leader, will guide journalists through
the 120 page document in a quick 10-minute tour, including an explanation
of some unique Natural Law Party policies such as all-party government,
a prevention wing in the military, and the party's three-point plan
to corruption in government.
Richard Johnson, Party Chairman, will summarise the party's
campaign strategy and give the agenda for the next three weeks until
election day.
Simultaneous news conferences throughout
the United Kingdom
The party leader's address will be relayed by conference telephone
to four additional news conferences where the leaders of the Natural
Law Party in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the North of England
will be presenting the manifesto.
