Other parties talk money,the Natural Law Party talks solutions

The leader of the Natural Law Party, Dr Geoffrey Clements, tonight gave his pre-election message to the electorate, emphasising his party's unique ability to solve the problems of the nation without spending money which the country cannot afford. "This election campaign has demonstrated that only the Natural Law Party is equipped to solve the problems of the nation. The other parties agree that more resources should be poured into areas such as Health and Education, but this is the approach that has been applied administration after administration. Simply throwing money at problems has not worked in the past, and it will not work now."

Dr Clements continued: "Only the programmes of the Natural Law Party can improve the situation, by creating a more positive, integrated, and stress-free nation, and by introducing effective solutions that make use of the most precious resource of the nation, the full creative potential of everyone. Only this approach can bring fulfilment to the life of the nation."

Saving billions through prevention

Dr Clements pointed out that more money is being spent on the Health Service than ever before, yet the shortfall is becoming greater shortfall is becoming greater. As expenditure increases, injecting additional funding which taxpayers can ill-afford the crisis in health care becomes more acute. It is a vicious spiral, which the current approach to health care is incompetent to solve. "The only permanent solution lies in introducing a prevention-oriented system of healthcare which stops people becoming ill in the first place," said Dr Clements. "The Natural Law Party has the means to do this." He explained: "Our goal, backed by hundreds of scientific research studies, is to reduce sickness by 50% within three years, reversing the funding crisis in the NHS and saving billions of pounds each year.

The missing element in education is not money

The party leader went on to speak about Education. He said the other parties were united in their call for more resources to be available to schools. He agreed that we need to provide pupils with decent classrooms and enough teachers and books. "But books alone, smaller classes alone, cannot provide a successful education. More resources will not in themselves stop children being disruptive. More resources alone will not satisfy a child's thirst for knowledge." Dr Clements continued: "These things cannot be brought about merely by pouring more money into the system. The programmes of the Natural Law Party will unfold the full creative potential of every student and develop the skills necessary for achievement in our changing society. We will create an environment in which education can be truly successful."

The money parties are the single-issue parties

Dr Clements concluded his message by saying: "The old parties have once again revealed themselves to be single-issue parties. They just have one approach: money."

"In contrast, the Natural Law Party has demonstrated itself to be the 'all-issue party', by bringing to the attention of the electorate effective solutions in each field of administration, solutions that themselves will conserve and consolidate the precious financial resources of the nation."

"Our offer to every voter is: Stay with the old parties if you want the same old formula of ever-increasing problems and conflict in politics. Vote for the Natural Law Party for successful government and a fulfilled, problem-free nation."
