Natural Law Party leader says bombing of Iraq is a sign of complete failure

Proposes new solution using proven technology to resolve stress and conflict in the world

"The bombing of Iraq is an embarrassing display of weakness on the part of Britain and the United States. The use of military force is a demonstration of complete failure - a total lack of intelligence to resolve the crisis by constructive means. It is a destructive approach that will lead only to more misery, suffering, and conflict. It has not resolved such crises in the past and will not do so now.

"For years we have been informing British and American leaders, along with all governments in the world, that there is available today a constructive and scientifically tested alternative to resolve hostility and conflict. It is the opposite to the approach now being used in the Iraq crisis. Instead of spreading negativity and destruction, it will promote flexibility and new solutions. This new approach utilises the most powerful means to create harmony and coherence in world consciousness - the Vedic Technology of Consciousness, as brought to light by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

"We were saddened to hear the British Prime Minister Tony Blair say there is 'no realistic alternative to the use of military force,' and that 'we have exhausted all other alternatives.' The Natural Law Party has already informed British leaders about the 42 scientific studies conducted over 25 years showing incontrovertibly that the use of Maharishi's coherence-creating technology leads to dramatic reductions in negativity and conflict both on a national and international scale.

"Mr Blair and US President Bill Clinton have not exhausted the alternatives. The strategy they have resorted to will just increase the pressure of fear and tension in the world. We appeal to them again to use a new approach that will effectively and permanently dissolve the accumulated stress and negativity in world consciousness that is the basic cause of all such problems.

"The means that we recommend to resolve conflict is prevention-oriented. It will enliven the evolutionary, nourishing power of Natural Law in collective consciousness to create a world family of invincible nations, where no enemy arises and every country is fully sovereign while living in harmony with all other nations."
