Natural Law Parties of the EU nations launch their campaign for the European Parliament elections and present their common Manifesto.

Main topics of the press conference:

1. MANIFESTO: The Natural Law Party is the first party to contest the European elections with a common Manifesto in all EU countries. The Manifesto offers unique and practical policies for the EU, backed up by hundreds of published scientific studies n policies to resolve problems in all key areas, including: peace in the Balkans; EMU; structural funds; EU enlargement; elimination of corruption and excesses in expenditure; problems of cross-border crime and pollution.
   
   
2. PEACE STRATEGY: As the first stage of their campaign the EU Natural Law Parties have started to implement a three-point action plan to bring peace to the Balkans. This plan uses technologies of Natural Law, such as Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, which have been shown in 42 studies to reduce dramatically the level of crime, negativity and conflict in society. The plan includes: 1. Inviting all Nato governments to establish immediately a group of 10,000 experts in Natural Law from among, for example, the Nato ground forces now stationed in the Balkans; 2. An advertising campaign inviting wealthy people to contribute to a special endowment fund to support such a group of experts in Natural Law on a permanent basis; 3. A call to all those in the world who already practise Yogic Flying to come immediately to Dubrovnik (less than 100 miles from Kosovo) to practise the technique together in a large group in order to create an influence of peace throughout the region.
   
   
3. SAVING THE EU 1,500 BILLION EURO: The Natural Law Party's scientifically validated policies will save 1,500 billion Euro from the budgets of the EU and its member states, not by introducing cuts in expenditure but by removing the problems which at present necessitate the expenditure.

"Our news conference on 22 April takes place not just in the capital of the EU but also close to the headquarters of Nato which celebrates its 50-year anniversary with its disastrous intervention in the Kosovo crisis. Nato leaders claim that they have used all available means to resolve the crisis peacefully, but they have ignored our repeated invitations to use the proven technologies of Natural Law. Bringing peace to Yugoslavia will be a major element in our European election campaign, which has the theme Natural Law Unites. We are calling on everyone to vote for Natural Law to create a truly united and peaceful Europe as the first step to a united problem-free world family of nations."
