10.30 am, Thursday 29th April 1999 Hillhead Library, Byres Road, Glasgow Speakers At the news conference, Natural Law Party leaders will outline an effective alternative to military action, to bring an immediate end to the war in Yugoslavia and prevent similar crises occurring in Scotland, the United Kingdom, or any part of the world. Special guest speaker Dr Geoffrey Clements, UK Natural Law Party leader, will present to the media an open letter which is being delivered to Tony Blair in London the same morning. This letter, which carries the signatures of the leaders of the Natural Law Parties of eight EU nations, strongly urges the leaders of NATO countries to use the technologies of Natural Law to end the conflict in Yugoslavia. Dr Diana Kras, leader of the Natural Law Party of Scotland, commented: "If the UK government is not receptive enough to adopt this proven plan, then we, the Natural Law Party of Scotland, will do our best through the Scottish Parliament to encourage Scotland to take the initiative and implement our peace plan." As the election campaign for the Scottish Parliament draws to a close, Dr Clements and the leaders of the Natural Law Party of Scotland will also discuss the party's scientifically validated policies in the areas of food and agriculture, health, education, crime, and the party's unique position on Scottish independence. Scientific research shows that these policies will lead to substantial savings, thereby allowing services to be improved while taxes can be slashed. This contrasts with other parties in the election, who say that services can be improved only by raising taxes. The news conference will include a practical demonstration of Yogic Flying, the technology of Natural Law which creates peace in society when practised by large groups of people.
