The Natural Law Party congratulates Prince Charles for warning of the dangers of genetically modified foods, and the media for carrying his message faithfully. It is fortunate that Prince Charles is so committed to the protection of life as a whole, so strongly in favour of Natural Law.

The Natural Law Party was the first political party to call for an outright ban on GM foods in 1996 and to include it in its 1997 general election manifesto.

Deputy Leader of the Natural Law Party Peter Warburton says: "Today we are receiving phone calls from people who have left the Labour Party because of its active promotion of GM foods and because of its bombing of Yugoslavia. This is because our Party Election Broadcast yesterday made a strong and unequivocal statement against both these policies of the British government.

"Both these policies are a violation of Natural Law," Mr Warburton says. "The Natural Law Party is not only taking an unequivocal stand on both points, but is unique in offering practical solutions to these problems, by using proven programmes that bring life in alliance with Natural Law. Anyone concerned with these serious issues should vote for the Natural Law Party since it is the only party that can resolve them."

The party leaders are touring the country this week to present the party’s solution to the Kosovo crisis. Scientific research has shown that the technologies of Natural Law, including Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, are effective in reducing crime and violence in society and have been shown to work even in situations of serious conflict and war.

In the Natural Law Party’s election broadcast, Party Leader Dr Geoffrey Clements says: "We were the first political party to campaign world-wide against GM foods; it has taken four years to prove that we were right. Please do not wait for four years to find that we are right concerning Yugoslavia, and other issues. Please give us your vote, now!"
