The Leader of the Natural Law Party, Dr Geoffrey Clements, will speak on his party’s policies with reference to the major issues in the European Parliament elections, including:

* Ending the hostilities in Yugoslavia and creating a stable peace; including a progress report on the Dubrovnik Peace Project, organised by the Natural Law Parties of Europe to create and maintain peace in the Balkans

* Banning genetically engineered foods and reforming agricultural policy

* Eliminating corruption, waste, and inefficiency in Brussels

* The Natural Law Party’s special criteria for entry in the single currency and its programme for making it a success rather than a disaster for the countries of Europe

* Reversing the decline in services in health and education through effective, scientifically validated programmes

* Reducing pollution and crime in London, thereby creating the atmosphere for wiser, more life-supporting decisions of the British government

Dr Clements will show how the Natural Law Party is unique among all the parties in this election, in that its policies provide effective, practical solutions to each of these issues.

Dr Clements will also present research published this week on a successful experiment in 1993 which reduced crime in Washington DC by 23% using the technologies of Natural Law, Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying. He will outline his plans to apply this technology to reduce crime in London.

The Natural Law Party is fielding a full slate of 85 candidates in the UK and some 500 throughout the EU in the Euro elections. The Natural Law Party is active in over 80 countries throughout the world.

Dr Clements and other senior party figures are this week campaigning in all regions of the UK. Dr Clements is the lead candidate for the London regional list.
