RELEASES
London, 14 June 1999 "By now, almost everybody is aware that the Natural Law programmes could substantially improve the quality of life, even if most voters have not yet made the leap to realise that they could enjoy these benefits immediately if they voted for a party as unique and special as the Natural Law Party. But this does not matter because any party can use the Natural Law programmes to create the same benefits, and we stand ready to work with MEPs in this respect. "This includes programmes that have been shown in extensive scientific research to unfold the individual's full creative potential, improve business performance, reduce sickness and crime, enhance educational achievements, and perhaps most importantly at this sensitive time in international relations create a stable state of peace in Europe and the world. "We would also like to emphasise that this is not a luxury. Simply voting for parties based on political idealism will never produce results. On this level neither a swing from one party to another, nor an upsurge of support for a new party will yield results. Nothing will change without the use of programmes to enliven positivity and coherence in the consciousness of the individual and society and to bring the full support of Natural Law to administration. "Furthermore, it is clear from this election that a key issue with voters was the apparent choice offered by other parties between the protection of national sovereignty and the benefits of closer ties with Europe. The programmes of the Natural Law Party will fulfil both - nourishing every aspect of national cultural identity while at the same time creating a harmonious Europe where nations are capable of working together effectively on matters of common interest. Only Natural Law is competent to support all the different values in Europe while keeping them unified. Only Natural Law will raise all of Europe to a new level of harmony, unity and happiness." - Dr Geoffrey Clements, Leader of the Natural Law Party |
